COVID-19 Crisis: An Update on our services (28/09/2020)
Yesterday an announcement was made about easing of restrictions for some workplaces and industries. As a result, we have been fielding a lot of enquiries regarding our services and operations. In particularly high demand are our garden consultation services.
Leaf, Root & Fruit are UNABLE to return to operating in the Melbourne Metro area under the current restriction level.
We anticipate that we will be able to return to working in Melbourne when the next step is taken in a few weeks. In the interim we are focussing on completing several projects in Central Victoria to free up resources when that step is taken.
We hope to offer garden consultation bookings as soon as possible. However, once Melbourne restrictions are eased we will need to dedicate most of our time and resources to several landscape projects that have been delayed by the restrictions. This will ensure our valued staff members have opportunities to work.
We aim to plant out as many of our landscapes as possible in early spring. This gives the plants time to settle in before the onset of hot and dry summer weather. The current lockdown has put us very much behind schedule in this regard. As such, we will not be resuming garden consultations until after these works are complete. If you haven’t already done so, please sign up to our newsletter to be informed when our consultation service resumes. Newsletter subscribers will be given priority access to make garden consultation bookings.
Although it has provided many challenges, the current pandemic has created an awareness and enthusiasm for local food production that has filtered right through the community. It has led to an avalanche of new followers and huge interest in our business. We are excited about the prospects for households fuelled with tasty, home grown food as a future standard that we can all create together.
Thanks for your overwhelming support and understanding during this very challenging year for us all.
Stay Safe & Happy Gardening!
