Following two years of landscaping works we are excited to offer this opportunity to members of the public to join us for a guided tour of our extensive productive garden in Kyneton, Central Victoria.

Regular readers of our monthly newsletter and our social media followers have been receiving progress updates on the implementation. Now is your opportunity to see this work in progress in person. The tour will commence in our on site classroom with a very quick overview of the history of the site (including some “before images”) and the proposed design. We will then head into the space for a guided tour including discussions on the features, successes and failures of the implementation. You will have the opportunity to ask questions throughout the tour on any specific areas of interest you may have. At the end of the tour participants will have some free time to explore the space at their leisure, to take photos or ask any final questions they may have.

Included in our productive garden are the following features:

• Huge netted enclosure
• Berry patch with over 33 varieties of berries
• Backyard Orchard
• Edible Forest Gardens
• Espaliered fruit trees and ‘Step-Overs’
• Large vegetable growing spaces
• Lawn space and open air classroom

The tour duration will be approximately one hour, with an additional 30 mins to explore the site at your own pace.

This is an all weather event and will be conducted regardless of the forecast. The site has uneven surfaces and the paths mulched with wood chips. If you have specific accessibility or mobility needs please contact us before booking to ensure that we can meet them.
