Dead passionfruit vine in citrus grove rainwater tank microclimate

Rainwater tank microclimate for growing citrus and passionfruit

It appears that the tank hasn’t offered quite enough protection to this young passionfruit vine. I’ll plant a new one in November in the hope that it will establish over the summer. Next winter I’ll provide extra frost protection to help the new plant cope with the cold. In future years, once the plant is bigger, I will leave it to fend to itself. If this second attempt fails, then I’ll try a different type of plant.
